AC Cakes and Cupcakes Terms and Conditions

Orders

We require a minimum of 2 weeks notice for any cake ordered and confirmed. For larger cakes a month's notice to prepare is required. (Criteria of cakes listed below) however we will accept short noticed cakes subjected to availability of the date required.

Criteria:

1. 1 Month notice
   • Stacked cakes of 4 or more tier
   • Cakes that require detailed planning
   • Wedding cakes
   • Flowers
   • Cake toppers (animated items)
2. 1 week notice
   • 3 or less tiers

Any cake ordered where a picture or photo of a cake produced by any other cake maker that are expected from clients, our interpretation of the cake will not be an exact copy of the cake in the picture or photo but close to expectation.

Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable. A minimum $50 deposit is required upon order confirmation for all cakes, which is deducted from the final balance payments. Deposits are made preferred through bank payments, once through clients will be notified.

Final Balance payments and refund policy

Final payments made are to be paid prior to pickups or delivery. If full payment is made and cancelled within the due dates of cancellations, refunds (50%) of payment will be sent back.

Cancellations

Cancellations need to be made prior to confirmation of AC Cakes making the cake. Clients will be contacted before starting the cake, if the cake has been made full payment needs to follow through even if cancelled.

1. month booking requires a 2-week cancellation notice before the due date.
2. week booking requires a 5-day cancellation notice before the due date.

Delivery

Delivery is an option when ordering a cake. This must be stated at the beginning of and cake order or consultation as there will be a delivery fee.
