Frequently Asked Questions

Can we pick up?

Yes. This can be discussed when making an order.

Do you deliver?

Yes we can deliver within the wellington region for an extra fee if required.

Do you require a cake deposit?

Yes. All cake orders that are booked in with Ac Cakes And Cupcakes are required to pay a $50 deposit upon confirmation. All deposits are non-refundable.  

How much notice do you need to order a cake?

At Ac Cakes And Cupcakes, we require a minimum of 2-weeks' notice on all cake orders 2 tiers or less.
Larger cakes 3 tiers or more such as 21st cakes or wedding cakes, a minimum of 4 weeks' notice is required. This is so your cake orders have the sufficient time to be prepared.

Cake Ingredients

Do you do Gluten Free baking?

No we don't unfortunately. We would have to sterilise our entire kitchen after using ingredients containing gluten which is the mainstay of our work. Gluten can also be in the air so it is simply impractical to be Gluten Free for our business model.
